2026Wayfarer, by Weidi Zhang and Weilu Ge, follows the journeys of a generative being inspired by ancient Chinese cosmology. Using AI to reinterpret ancient mythological forms, the film reflects on the ways we encounter the unknown, imagining new forms of coexistence with intelligent systems and allowing new speculative beings to emerge from collective memory.
