AVB2BVA is an audiovisual back-to-back performance that reshapes the music and real-time visuals of Robert Lippok and Lucas Gutierrez. Since their first collaboration, Applied Autonomy in 2018, Lippok and Gutierrez have focused on the relationship between music and visual art. For this year's edition of MUTEK.JP, they elevate this approach by blurring the boundaries of authorship, expanding the B2B DJ format to an audiovisual level. Performing together in a single set, they alternate tracks while performing simultaneously, creating a dynamically charged atmosphere and an intense experience. Exploring the fluidity of time through shifting rhythms and evolving visual sequences, their performance evokes a sense of temporal disorientation, leaving space for improvisation and unpredictable changes. Through their collaborative practice, they merge their distinct artistic languages into a cohesive narrative, forging new pathways in contemporary art.

Un proyecto en el que ciertas geometrías describen objetos que pueden parecer realistas, pero que no existen en el mundo físico, sino que desarrollan su verosimilitud sensual en el mundo digital. Un ejemplo famoso es el triángulo de Penrose: en la animación en 3D, este tipo de objetos suelen aparecer por los errores de malla . Los artistas han identificado estos errores frecuentes en su propia práctica y desarrollaron una estructura de datos para explorarlos visual y musicalmente.
