Diffusion
2026Arbor and Tzu Ni deconstruct the digital image in Diffusion , exploring the pixel as both source of light and unit of meaning. Beginning where the image ends, they treat darkness as encoded data and listening as a way of knowing, staging a real-time feedback system between light, sound, image, and space. Through sonic diffusion, resonance, and spatial transmission, the work approaches sound not as accompaniment to the image, but as an unstable atmospheric force that continuously reshapes perception. TW: This performance uses flashing and flickering patterns, high-frequency sounds, and rapid changes in light and sound intensity.
