Pianist Jenn Mong and sound artist Trevor Van de Veld join forces in COCKPIT , an audiovisual performance exploring the link between instrument and machine. Joysticks, MIDI controllers, and flight simulation interfaces transform the piano into a high-stakes command center, where virtuosic piano passages, warped 90s elevator music, and glitch noise evoke the complexities of technological embodiment and mechanized warfare.
